How to use AI plugins for eshop (activation and settings)
This article describes how to activate and configure AI add-ons in Fynode, what configuration options they have and what to watch for when deploying to production. You will find the activation procedure, explanations of the main settings for individual add-ons, and recommendations for testing and monitoring costs. Where to find AI plugins and basic activation
The AI add-ons section is located at https://fynode.com/ai-addons and shows available modules like AI similar products, AI search, AI chatbot and AI mailer. Each add-on has a panel with a name, description and a “Settings” button through which you activate or edit it. Activation usually occurs after filling out a settings form and clicking “Activate” or “Save” and some add-ons then display generated JS code for embedding into your eshop.
Localizations, attachments and testing
If you have multiple localizations, use the "Set localizations" function to share or set specific settings for each domain and language. For the chatbot and mailer you can upload a FAQ database and add attachments from storage as supporting materials. After saving the plugin settings, a preview usually appears in an iframe where you can test the plugin before inserting the JS code into the eshop.
Main plugin settings
Each plugin has its specific settings, commonly including “Language,” “Domain,” “Color,” and “Logo.” For AI search you can, for example, set a filter “Show only products that are in stock,” and an informative cost calculator by number of searches is also shown. The chatbot and mailer additionally have settings like number of messages in memory, response delay, and reply instructions that define the tone and rules of AI responses.
Scheduling, repetition and costs
Some plugins (e.g. AI similar products) allow setting repeated processing and each repetition is billed according to the number of products. Before activation an approximate pricing is shown and in recalculation you see an estimated price per repetition or per number of searches. Monitor AI credit and use testing on a small sample of products to fine-tune settings and avoid unexpected costs.
How do I activate the AI chatbot and embed it on the site?
Activate the plugin through the AI plugins section, fill in the settings including language, welcome message and instructions, save changes and a JS code will be generated which you insert into your eshop. Before inserting, we recommend testing the chatbot in the iframe preview to see behavior and responses according to the provided instructions.
How do I set up AI search and how much does it cost?
In the AI search settings choose language, domain, appearance and whether to show only in-stock products. On the settings page there is a calculator where you set the number of searches and see approximate costs. Search fees are billed in bulk, usually not immediately per each search, but in intervals (e.g. every 3 hours).
What to do before globally running a plugin across the entire eshop?
First test the plugin on a small sample of products or in the iframe preview, check localization settings, add instructions and attachments if needed.
