Synchronization of warehouse data and supplementary information from the warehouse
Fynode regularly synchronizes stock data from the connected warehouse system so current product quantities and supplementary information are sent to the eshop. On the page https://fynode.com/storage you will find the button Load data for immediate loading and settings that affect the frequency and method of item matching. Procedures for matching by EAN or product number and choosing the stock value method (maximum value or sum) are available in the warehouse settings.
Load data and synchronization frequency
Use the Load data button on the Warehouse page for immediate download of quantities and additional stock information. After activating the connection, data is loaded automatically several times a day, approximately every 8 hours. Manual loading is recommended after changing data in an external system.
Additional info and order import
If the warehouse system supports importing received orders, you can enable automatic order import, which will send new orders from the eshop to the warehouse. Supplementary information from the warehouse (for example warehouse codes or meta data) will be loaded together with statuses and product data.
Product pairing and status value
In the warehouse settings you choose the product matching method either by product number or by EAN. For multiple warehouses decide whether the eshop should receive the maximum value from a single warehouse or the sum of stocks from all warehouses. These choices directly affect the displayed available product quantity.
Examples for specific systems
Some systems require specific settings, for example Money S3 uses FTP transfer with server data, username and password and a filename in the format {ID}-storage. Oberon can generate FTP credentials upon activation and requires database configuration. Prepare the required API/FTP login credentials before activation.
After activation, the data are updated automatically several times a day, roughly every 8 hours. For immediate synchronization use the Load data button on the Storage page.
In the warehouse settings there is an option "Stock value on hand", where you can choose either "Sum of quantities from all warehouses" or "Maximum value from a single warehouse". The default option is "Maximum value".
If your warehouse system supports importing received orders, a switch Automatic import of orders will appear in the settings. After activating it, new orders will start being sent from the system to the warehouse.
