Synchronization of the order with the source eshop
Synchronization updates the order data in Fynode according to the status in the original eshop. You can run it for a single order or in bulk for multiple orders to have the most up-to-date information in the system about status, products, customer, and payment.
What synchronization updates
Clicking “Synchronize with eshop” loads the current order data from the source eshop and overwrites the information in our system. Typically the order status, payment and shipping method, billing and shipping customer data, order items and total are updated. Synchronization is mainly used when data in the eshop changed and you want it to be consistent in Fynode as well.
Restrictions and meta-data
If you change metadata mappings or sequences in the eshop settings, these changes are not applied automatically to orders already imported. For the new metadata to appear on older orders, you must manually click "Synchronize with eshop" on each order or use bulk synchronization within the system limits. Also check Marketplace and warehouse settings, because some integrations may have their own import and synchronization rules.
How to start synchronization
For a single order use the „Synchronize with eshop“ button directly on that order in the list or in the order detail. For multiple orders select items with multiselect and use the bulk action „Synchronize“. Bulk synchronization is limited to a maximum of 100 orders at once, so for larger volumes split the task into multiple steps.
Where do I find the button to synchronize a single order?
The “Synchronize with eshop” button is available for each order in the list and also in the order detail. After clicking, the system fetches current data from the eshop and updates the data in Fynode.
Can I synchronize multiple orders at once?
Yes, via multiselect you select orders and use the bulk action “Synchronize”. Bulk synchronization is limited to a maximum of 100 orders per run, so for larger numbers split the synchronization into multiple batches.
Why do new metadata settings not apply to old orders?
Meta-data and mappings apply only to new imports according to the new settings. If you want these settings applied to already imported orders, you must run “Synchronize with eshop” for them manually or in bulk so the data from the eshop is reloaded with the new mapping.
