Setting up notifications and email alerts
Notifications are found in the app header (bell icon) — a list of events is shown with priority, category and time. Bulk management of email templates and automated emails is in the Emails section (https://fynode.com/emails), where you create templates, set events, attachments and send delay. To send emails you must activate SMTP in this section; after saving the system will test the connection.
Where to manage notifications
The bell icon in the top right opens the list of notifications (event, priority, text, time). You can mark notifications as read or delete them, and by default those with high priority are shown. This view serves for a quick overview of events in the eshop.
Activation of SMTP and AI/IMAP mailer
Click Activate SMTP in the Emails section and fill in SMTP host, email, password, security (TLS/SSL), port, sender name and reply‑to. The system will automatically test the connection on save. If you want automated responses or helpdesk handling, activate the AI mailer / IMAP connection and configure message sources (IMAP/SMTP or LiveAgent).
Email templates and events
The Emails section (https://fynode.com/emails) contains a list of templates where for each you set the Name, Event (e.g. order received, status change), subject, HTML template and attachments. You can also set send delay, BCC and rules for which order sources the email should be sent. Templates can also be sent manually from the order detail.
In the Emails section click “Activate SMTP” and fill in SMTP host, Email, Password, Encryption (TLS/SSL), Port, Sender name and Reply‑to; after saving the system will test the connection and display the result.
In Emails create a New template: enter a Name, select the Event “Order status change”, set the subject, HTML template, any attachments and rules (payment type, delivery type, order sources). Save and the template will be sent automatically when conditions are met.
AI mailer is an automated mailer/chatbot that processes and responds to emails (or via helpdesk) — you activate it in the AI mailer settings and add a message source (IMAP or LiveAgent). For IMAP enter the email, password, IMAP host/port and also set the folder for sent messages; the system will test the connection after saving.
