Marketplace connection settings (import, export, rules)
This article describes available connection settings for Marketplaces in Fynode including order import, exports, stock synchronizations and basic processing rules. Settings can be found in the detail of each active Marketplace where you can enable imports, define behavior when creating orders and set sending of invoices or shipment numbers. Descriptions of features and individual toggles are provided in the documentation for the Marketplaces section.
Overview of available settings
In the detail of an active marketplace you will find switches such as Import orders, Import orders directly into the eshop, Deduct stock after import, Update stock from the eshop to the marketplace, Create an invoice after order creation, Delivery type and payment method mapping. Not all settings are shown for every marketplace; only those supported by the given marketplace will appear.
Stock synchronizations, exports and bulk actions
Stock updates from the warehouse to the marketplace are governed by the setting “Update stock on the marketplace from the eshop” and can be enabled only if the stock connection supports stock export. For connections to external warehouses you set pairing by product number or EAN and the stock value method (Maximum value or Sum). In the Orders section you can use bulk actions such as Export, Synchronize, Issue invoices or Send to Courier.
Order import and processing rules
If the marketplace supports fetching orders, you can import them into our system or directly into the eshop if the platform allows it. Import into the system and import directly into the eshop are mutually exclusive. When importing into the system you can enable automatic stock decrement in the eshop so quantities match.
Settings are available in the Marketplaces section at https://fynode.com/marketplaces after clicking the icon of the active marketplace. In the opened detail you will see all toggles and options that the given marketplace supports.
Import into the system means that orders from the marketplace are imported into the Fynode system and you then work with them here. Import directly into the eshop creates an order directly in your eshop administration if the platform supports it. These modes are mutually exclusive, so choose the one that best fits your operation. When importing into the system you can enable decrementing stock in the eshop so inventories change automatically.
If the Marketplace supports this feature, in the connection details you will find switches "Send invoice to Marketplace" and "Send shipment number to Marketplace". After activation, the system will automatically send the relevant data to the Marketplace when an invoice is issued or a shipment is sent. If the setting does not appear, the Marketplace does not support this functionality.
By correctly configuring imports and synchronizations you ensure consistent stock states and a smooth order flow between the marketplace, our system and your eshop. For bulk order operations and exports use the tools in the Orders and Exports sections, and when setting warehouse rules read the recommendations in the Warehouses section.
