Load new orders and back import (options and limitations)
The "Load new orders" button above the orders list is used to quickly supplement missing or new orders from the connected eshop. By default it loads new orders for approximately the last 15 minutes, or you can enable a back import from a chosen date up to 1 year back. Some back import options are not available in the trial Subscription.
How "Load new orders" works
After clicking the button a window opens with a checkbox “Load new orders from a specific date”, which is switched off by default. If you leave the checkbox unchecked and confirm, the system will load orders from approximately the last 15 minutes. If you enable the checkbox, a “Date from” (datepicker) will appear where you select the start of the back import up to 1 year in the past.
Back import vs automatic imports and integrations
The back import is used to import missing orders into the system, while Marketplaces and warehouse integrations may have their own automatic imports. Some Marketplaces allow importing orders directly into the system or into the eshop, with settings determining processing and invoice creation after import. When using external warehouse systems, FTP or other settings can be used for automated order imports and stock synchronizations.
Import status and limitations
After starting the back import the page refreshes and an orange message "Importing orders from the eshop." appears instead of the button. The import usually completes within a few minutes and the button returns after completion. The checkbox to enter a custom date is not available for users on a trial subscription, so an appropriate subscription is required to perform a larger retrospective synchronization.
What happens if I click "Load" without checking a date?
If you don't specify a date, the system will load new orders from approximately the last 15 minutes. When started, a message about the import in progress will appear and after completion the button will return to its original state.
Can I import orders retroactively from the beginning of last year?
Yes. When activating the checkbox "Load new orders from a specific date" you can choose a date up to 1 year in the past and the system will import orders from that date. However, this option is not available in the trial subscription.
How does the back import work together with imports from Marketplaces and warehouses?
Marketplaces can have their own order import settings either into the system or directly into the eshop. External warehouse systems often use FTP or specific jobs for regular order import and stock synchronization. Before a large back-import, check the marketplaces and warehouse settings to avoid duplicates or stock mismatches.
