Embedding the map into the eshop via generated JS code
A short guide on how to copy and paste the generated JS code of the pickup points map into your eshop. After saving the map in the administration a test preview and an input with the ready script will appear, which you just need to insert into the header or into the section for custom scripts in the eshop theme.
Where do I get the generated JS code
After creating or editing a map in the form, the form refreshes after saving and displays a test preview along with an input containing the script. Copy it and paste it into your eshop.
Where to insert the code in common platforms
Most platforms allow inserting JS code into a section for custom scripts or the theme header. For example, inserting into HEAD or custom scripts can be found in the theme settings for Webareal, Upgates, Shoptet, Shoprenter and others. The procedure varies by platform, so check the specific guide for your platform in the eshop settings.
Domain and code activation
In the map settings enter the domain in the form domena.com without https, www or slashes. The JS code verifies which domain it is loaded from and will work only for the specified domain, so enter the exact domain of your eshop. Also set the correct name of the delivery type so the map opens in the checkout when this method is selected.
After saving the map, a test preview and an input with the JS code that you copy will appear in the form. The preview and code are available directly in the map editor in the Fynode administration.
Yes — in the map enter the Domain field in the form domena.com without https or slashes. The code is bound to this domain and will not load for a different domain.
In Shopify the JS code is not displayed directly. Instead use the external link to install our plugin and after installation insert the unique token into the plugin settings in Shopify. After this step a button to select a pickup point will appear on the thank you page which redirects the customer to our map.
