List of files in storage: filtering and information
Overview of the file list in Fynode Storage and explanation of available filters, displayed data and basic actions. The Storage section contains uploaded user and system files and basic settings for uploading and categories.
Where to find Storage and what the list displays
The Storage section is located at https://fynode.com/files. The list shows basic file details such as name, category, file type, extension and creation date. The list includes user-uploaded files and system files which cannot be edited or deleted.
Actions on files and available formats
Each file in the list has the buttons “Download”, “Edit” and “Delete”. Edit opens a drag and drop window to upload a new file which will overwrite the existing one. Allowed formats are pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, xml, csv and txt with a max size of 10 MB. System files cannot be edited or deleted.
Filtering and searching files
You can filter the list using full-text search by name or by the assigned category. With a large number of files, use categories to quickly separate document types. You can create categories directly when uploading a file if you need a new classification.
Use the full-text Search field to search by name and the Category select to filter by assigned categories. If you need a new category, create it when uploading the file via the Create new category button.
Supported formats are pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, xml, csv and txt. Maximum file size is 10 MB.
Yes — using the Edit button you open a drag-and-drop area where you upload a new file that will overwrite the existing one. System files cannot be edited or deleted and these actions are disabled for them.
