Editing an existing pickup points map
How to edit settings of an existing pickup points map in Fynode and what the changes will affect in the eshop display. The edit procedure is simple: in the list of maps click the "Edit" button, modify the required fields in the form and save. After saving a test preview and the generated JS code or, for Shopify, an external link with a token will be displayed.
Opening map editing
You can find the list of maps at https://fynode.com/maps. For each map click the "Edit" button which redirects to the edit form with prefilled data. This action allows you to quickly change settings without creating a new map.
Saving, testing, and insertion code
After clicking save the form refreshes and a test preview of the map will appear. In the field below the preview you will find the JS code which you copy into your eshop. If you use Shopify, use an external link and enter the unique token into our plugin in the Shopify settings.
Fields you can edit
In the form you can change the country, the domain (format domena.com), and the name of the delivery type that activates the map in checkout. You can also enable or disable filtering of pickup locations by cash on delivery and card payment, set the number of minutes to change the pickup location, and adjust default coordinates and zoom for desktop and mobile.
The domain is used to verify loading of the JS code, so enter it in the form domena.com without https and slashes. If you change the domain, the JS code will work only for the newly entered domain, so after modification test the map in the preview.
Yes — in the edit form you select a different country from the available list of countries for the given courier. Note: each courier + country combination can exist only once, so when changing the country consider creating a new map if the combination already exists.
In the map settings there are checkboxes "Enable pickup points with cash on delivery" and "Enable pickup points with card". By checking them you control whether the map shows only pickup points that support the given payment method. Save changes and test the preview.
Editing the map lets you precisely control country, domain, delivery type and other parameters that affect the available pickup points for customers. Don’t forget to test the map in preview and copy the resulting JS code or token for Shopify.
