Downloading PDF invoice from the accounting system
Downloading a PDF invoice in Fynode allows quick access to issued documents stored in the connected accounting system. In several places in the interface you will find the action “Download PDF”, which fetches the PDF from the external accounting system and downloads it to the computer. This functionality is described in the invoices section and also the buttons in the order detail in the Fynode documentation.
Where to find the download button
The "Download PDF" button is available in the invoice list on the page https://fynode.com/invoices and also directly in the order detail if an invoice has been issued for the order. On click, the PDF is downloaded from the connected accounting system.
Bulk PDF downloading
In the invoices list you can select multiple items and run the bulk action "Download PDF", which will download the PDF files into a ZIP archive. In the dialog there is a checkbox for "Merge into one pdf file"; if you check it the system will generate one combined PDF file.
Indicators and button behavior
If the PDF has not yet been downloaded, the button icon lights green, making it easy to identify unavailable copies. In case of issues issuing or downloading an invoice the button may light red and show an error message from the accounting system on hover.
Yes. The "Download PDF" button loads the PDF directly from the connected accounting system, so it is only active with an enabled and functional connection. Check the connection settings in the accounting section.
A green icon indicates that the PDF for the given invoice has not yet been downloaded to your device. After downloading, the icon is no longer green. This state helps quickly find documents that have not yet been saved.
Select multiple invoices in the list and choose the bulk action "Download PDF". In the confirmation dialog there is an option "Merge into a single pdf file", which when enabled will generate one combined PDF instead of a ZIP archive with multiple files.
If the system supports downloading PDFs, the icon next to the invoice lights up green until the PDF has been downloaded. For bulk downloads you can choose to merge into a single PDF or download as a ZIP. For correct functionality, check the activated connection with the accounting system and its support for downloading PDFs.
