Short guide to downloading a file stored in the Storage section in the Fynode administration. I will show step by step where to find the file, which button to use and what to watch out for with system files.
Open the Storage section
In the administration, go to the page https://fynode.com/files where there is a list of all your uploaded files and system files. In the list you see the name, category, file type, extension and creation date.
Watch out for system files and permissions
System files are marked in the list and cannot be edited or deleted. Download usually works for system files as well if allowed. Before deleting or overwriting, verify that the file is not used by other functionality.
Downloading a single file
In the file row click the “Download” button. After clicking the selected file will start downloading to your browser. If the file does not contain a direct download link, the browser will save it to the default downloads folder.
Where can I find the button to download the file?
The "Download" button is in the row of each file in the list in the Storage section. Clicking it will download the file to the browser.
Can I download and at the same time edit a system file?
System files cannot be edited or deleted via the interface. If you need to change a system file, contact support to avoid disrupting functionality.
What to do if the file does not download or the browser blocks the download?
Check whether the file is in a supported format and not larger than 10 MB. Alternatively, try a different browser or check your security settings. If the problem persists, contact technical support.
