How to delete an eshop and account (procedure and warnings)
Deleting an eshop or an entire account is performed in the Settings section at https://fynode.com/settings. These actions are irreversible and will result in permanent data deletion upon confirmation, so perform backups and check integrations and active services before deletion.
Step 1 — Preparation before deletion
Export and back up all important data (orders, invoices, products, exports) and check active integrations (Couriers, accounting systems, warehouses). Make sure you have all necessary exports stored outside the system, because after deletion the data will be irretrievably lost.
Step 3 — Account deletion (procedure)
In Settings click “Delete account”. The system will request the account login email for confirmation. After correct entry and confirmation the account will be deleted and the user logged out. This step is irreversible — all eshops and connections assigned to the account will be removed or must be deleted separately beforehand.
Step 2 — Deleting the eshop (procedure)
In Settings click „Delete eshop“. The system will open a confirmation dialog where you must enter the name of the current eshop exactly as shown. Only the owner who created the eshop in the system can delete it. After confirmation the eshop will be permanently deleted along with its data.
Can I delete orders that have issued invoices?
An order cannot be deleted if it has a recorded invoice. First delete the invoice in the Invoices section (or delete it also in the connected accounting system using the "Delete invoice also from the accounting system" option) and only then may you remove the order or eshop.
Who can delete the eshop or account?
Only the owner of an eshop (the user who created the eshop in the system) can delete the eshop. An account can be deleted by the logged-in user by entering their login email in the deletion confirmation. The system requires precise identity confirmation for these actions.
What else should I check before deleting?
Check and terminate active Subscriptions, issued invoices, integrations with external systems (banks, warehouses, Couriers) and export necessary data. We also recommend informing employees and customers if deletion will affect their access or services. After deletion data cannot be restored, so careful preparation is essential.
