Management of product categories and localizations
Category and localization management in Fynode allows organizing and synchronizing product content across different marketplaces and languages. The interface contains a list of categories and tools for import and reload, with localizations supported per language and linking between eshops for products. These features speed up publishing, generating and translating texts including SEO fields using AI tools.
Category list and its management
Categories can be found in the products section; after activating the eshop the categories are gradually imported and a button to reload is shown above the list. In the category detail you can edit the name, short and long description as well as SEO fields, or call AI to generate these texts. This category center serves as a starting point for organizing products in different localizations.
Generating and supplementing texts
For missing names, descriptions or SEO fields you can use system AI features directly in the product or category detail. AI can generate short and long descriptions, an SEO title and SEO description and save the results either to the main localization or to meta data if the eshop does not directly support those fields. This speeds up localizing content for multiple languages without manual rewriting.
Product localizations and eshop linking
If you have multiple eshops or language versions, above the product list a Localizations button will appear where you set the main eshop and the product pairing method. You can pair by product number or EAN and decide whether stock should be updated from the main eshop. These settings determine where basic data is taken from and which localizations will be updated automatically.
In the Localizations settings select “Main eshop” and set the language of the current eshop, then you can enable matching by product number or EAN so local versions automatically synchronize with the main source.
If the eshop does not support direct SEO fields, the system will save generated SEO titles and descriptions into the product's or category's meta data, and the detail view will display an indication of that meta key.
Activate the integration with the inventory system and in the settings choose “Update stock level” and the preferred stock value method (maximum value or sum), or allow updating the stock level from the main eshop for specific localizations.
