Courier settings and management of delivery options
This article describes all available courier settings in Fynode and how you manage delivery options for orders. In the linked courier detail you’ll find mapping of delivery types, cash-on-delivery settings, default packaging, minimum weight, additional services, rules for changing order statuses and label download options; specific fields depend on what the courier supports.
Basic courier settings
In the courier detail you set the "Order delivery type", "Cash on delivery", default packaging, minimum weight and whether labels should be downloaded after dispatch. Some options are shown only if the given courier supports that functionality. These settings determine how the courier is automatically assigned to orders in the shipment breakdown.
Automatic order statuses and labels
You can define the order status after shipment dispatch, upon delivery, on return, or on delivery failure. The system also has the option to automatically create an invoice after parcel delivery if you have accounting connected, and by default it downloads labels after successful shipment dispatch. If the courier processes shipments later, the system will catch up and add the data subsequently.
Delivery mapping and handling of cash on delivery
“Order delivery type” is used to preset the courier according to the delivery method from the eshop. The “Dobierka” option defines which payment method is considered cash on delivery, with the system primarily checking the order payment status. Rounding of COD and currency is set directly in the courier profile if the courier supports it.
Courier profiles and additional services
For a single courier you can create multiple settings profiles — each profile can have different delivery type settings, additional services, a default sender or login credentials. After creating a profile a "Change login credentials" button will appear if you need to send shipments under a different sender or with different API data.
In the courier detail fill in the “Default package” and “Minimum weight” fields. These values are used in the shipment breakdown before sending, and you can still manually adjust them for a specific order. Minimum weight takes precedence over the system-wide minimum weight setting.
Yes. You can create multiple settings profiles for a single courier and enter separate login credentials for each profile via the "Change login credentials" button. This allows sending shipments, for example, under different senders or accounts with the courier.
Labels are normally downloaded after successful shipment dispatch and the system allows downloading them in PDF or ZIP format. Labels are stored in the archive for up to 7 days, so if you need past labels, check this archive in the Couriers section or in the shipment list, and any errors during dispatch can be found in the shipment notifications.
