Access management: Adding a new employee and setting permissions
In the Employees section you can quickly create a new access for a colleague and assign precise rights in Fynode. The management page is intended for adding, editing and deleting accesses, including verifying the email of the new user. The procedure for adding and setting rights is simple and focused on securely sharing access among team members.
Where to find employee management
The Employees page is available at https://fynode.com/employees, where you can see the list of existing accesses and the "New employee" button to create a new account. The list also includes an action to delete access — the trash icon next to a specific employee. This is the starting point for managing accesses in your account.
Setting permissions and saving access
Before saving, you can assign specific rights to an employee — for example access to orders, products, eshop settings, and other sections. After selecting permissions click the “Save” button at the very bottom to confirm and activate the new access. You can edit or delete accesses later as needed.
Procedure for adding a new employee
When creating, enter the employee’s name and email and then click the “Verify” button, which will check whether the email is already registered with the service. If the email is not registered, the system will generate a password and display it — you then send this password to the employee. The employee can change the password after logging in in Settings.
Where in the admin will I find employee management?
The management can be found at https://fynode.com/employees, where you can create new employees via the “New employee” button and delete existing accesses with the trash icon.
How do I verify a new employee's email?
When adding an employee, enter their email and click "Verify". The system will check whether the email is already registered; if it is not, a generated password for the new account will be displayed, which you must send to the employee.
Where do I set what rights an employee will have?
When creating or editing an employee you can check specific rights (access to orders, products, eshop settings, etc.). After setting the rights click “Save” at the bottom for the changes to take effect.
