Activating the courier integration
This guide provides a step-by-step procedure for activating a courier integration in Fynode. You manage integrations in the Couriers section at https://fynode.com/couriers where you can see the list of available couriers and their icons. After filling in the required access credentials the system will verify the connection and, on success, display the settings for that courier in the integration detail.
Step 1: Select a courier
You open the Couriers section at https://fynode.com/couriers and click the icon of the courier you want to activate. The list includes carriers like GLS, DPD, FedEx, TopTrans, Sameday and others. The detail view shows the input fields that the specific courier requires for activation.
Step 3: Check the specific requirements for the courier
Some couriers require specific fields, for example Slovenská pošta needs User id, API key and IBAN for cash on delivery, while DPD may require an API key, IBAN and BIC. Before activation, request these details from the courier to avoid connection verification errors.
Step 2: Fill in the required details and activate
In the form you enter the required fields such as API key, login email, User id, IBAN or Client id depending on the courier. Then click the "Save" or "Activate" button and the system will attempt to connect to the courier's API. If the data are correct, the connection is created and the interface refreshes with the new courier settings.
The form is in the Couriers section at https://fynode.com/couriers. Clicking the icon of the selected courier opens a window with the required inputs and a "Save" or "Activate" button which initiates connection verification.
Required data depends on the specific courier. It may be, for example, API key, API username, API password, Client id, Client secret, User id or IBAN for cash-on-delivery. Specific fields are shown in the detail of the given courier and you must request them from the courier or in their administration.
Check the correctness of the entered data and whether you have active API access from the courier. Also check local requirements such as IBAN or BIC if required. If the problem persists, edit the details in the connection detail or contact technical support and attach the error message and the time of the activation attempt.
