Universal map for pickup points – easier delivery selection
In one place you will display all available pickup points from your Couriers. The customer selects the place that suits them best in the checkout, and the address is automatically transferred to the order.
How it works
After creating the map you will receive JavaScript code that you insert into your eshop. When a specific delivery method is selected, an interactive map with pickup points will open for the customer. After selecting a specific location, its address and identifier are automatically saved to the order. When the order arrives in the system, the correct pickup point will be shown directly in the shipment breakdown before dispatch. For eshops on the Shopify platform, a simple plugin is prepared that is installed via an external link and activated using a unique token.
Combinations in one map
One map does not have to be limited to a single Courier. Thanks to the ability to merge maps, the customer can choose pickup points from multiple Couriers or even from multiple countries in one window. That means they can always choose the exact location that is most convenient for them – regardless of which Courier they choose.
Customization options
The map is fully customizable. When creating it you choose the country, domain and delivery type. You set whether you want to display pickup points with cash on delivery or card payment, and you define default coordinates and zoom level for desktop and mobile devices. If you need to display multiple maps at once, you can merge them into one – for example, combine pickup points from multiple countries or Couriers.
Practical use
At payment the customer chooses delivery to a pickup point. Instead of laboriously typing the address, they just need to select the nearest place on the map. The system can also filter locations that offer card payment or cash on delivery, allowing the customer to choose exactly according to their preferences.
Additional selection
If it happens that a customer does not choose a pickup point at checkout, the system automatically sends an email with a link where they can easily select it afterwards. The same option is also available directly in our public Track & Trace order, where they can not only choose a pickup point but also change it later. This ensures the process is always completed and no order remains without a correctly selected location.
Price and demo version
Using the universal map is part of the Fynode system. After creating the map you immediately get a working preview directly in the admin and can test how the map will appear in your eshop. For Shopify users there is a plugin available that is easy to install and activate using a token.
